Renewable Raw Material
Some farmers grow plants which can be used as energy source or raw material for the industrial sector. Colza is used to obtain biological diesel and lubricating oil; miscanthus, kenaf, hemp and linen are used to supply energy or to produce plant fibers and packaging material. Without state aid it would not be profitable to grow renewable raw material.
